The most important thing is to get a good quality and protective gloves so that you wont get injured during training and also it can last you for long time. Beginner or not, we all get the same injuries (think of it as buying a running shoe, you wouldnt get a $10 pair of running shoe if you are intending to go for a long distance run right? Same logic!) Note: If any store tries to sell you “Beginner Gloves”, you should totally avoid them as they are just there to “sell” and not to help you get the best gear within your budget.
